CubeSmart Self Storage

Iron Cross Commercial Construction completed a full-scope asphalt overlay and pavement restoration project at CubeSmart Self Storage in Arlington, Texas. The project began with the installation of 6,000 square feet of 2-inch hot mix asphalt over a properly compacted base across four designated areas. The asphalt was installed using a paving machine with a 2.5-inch lift and compacted to a 2-inch final depth utilizing vibratory steel wheel rollers.

In addition to the new paving, our team cleaned and prepared 60,500 square feet of existing asphalt surface, then sealed it with two coats of premium emulsified asphalt sealer. We also treated 1,500 linear feet of existing cracks with hot-applied rubberized sealant to prevent further deterioration and water infiltration.

The project included a full pavement marking layout in accordance with applicable city code and owner requirements, including parking stalls, ADA-compliant spaces, fire lanes, and directional arrows. All asphalt was placed to maintain existing water flow patterns, and fine grading along with minor adjustments were included and completed the same day to ensure proper drainage across the entire property.
